Santa Claus is Coming to Town!
For several weeks, I've been on the lookout for a Christmas dress for Mackenzie. Everywhere I went, they were either to fru-fru or short sleeved. I thought I looked everywhere and was about to give up when my mom called to tell me about the racks and racks of dresses at Macy's. Scott and I have also been talking about taking Mack to see Santa, but since Scott works through the week we decided to try this past Sunday morning...huge mistake! The line was almost out the door, and there was no way I was going to make Mack wait in that line. So, we decided to try again Monday night and it was a success! We only waited about 15 minutes and Santa actually spent a few minutes talking and visiting with Mackenzie, he was so cute!

14 Weeks and Playtime with Daddy
Mackenzie has been quite the social butterfly lately. She's already been to two Christmas parties and she had so much fun! She loves all the attention she gets and will let anyone hold her, so of course Scott and I spent the night passing her around. It's funny because no matter where she is, when 9:30 p.m. rolls around, she's out for the night. She could be in someone's arms, her stroller, her carseat, or her bed and she becomes sleeping beauty. Almost every night when Scott gets home from work, he takes Mackenzie and they play in her room. One night, he took her and they were off. I was busy doing laundry and such and when I walked into her room I found this:
Mack the Pope
Hmmmm, what are they doing to me?!

I can't believe that Mackenzie is already 3 months old. What's even crazier, is that this time last year I was pregnant with her. Of course I didn't know, but it just goes to show how fast 2008 has come and gone. Mackenzie is still able to wear her little sailor outfit and she's yet to show signs of outgrowing it anytime soon. The top is a crop top which she will NOT be able to wear out of the house regardless if the weather is warm enough! We haven't weighed her since Thanksgiving night, so we will be doing that soon, it's just crazy how quickly the time can get away from you.

Many firsts for Mackenzie
The day after Thanksgiving, Uncle Matt, Grandma Terry, Mackenzie and Mommy left for Boynton Beach, Florida to visit Aunt Candy, Uncle Larry and Harley. It was the first car ride for Mackenzie, 11 hours to be exact and she did amazing. She only cried for the last 30 minutes and I don't blame her. It was also the first time she met her Great Grandma Edee.

Mackenzie turned 12 weeks old on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 27, 2008. We spent the morning relaxing and watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade a tradition that I grew up doing. We went over to Scott's mom's house for Thanksgiving dinner and ate and ate and ate...ok well you get the point! Then late that night, Mackenzie and I headed to my mom's because we were leaving early Friday morning for Florida.
Hee, hee, I think Mackenzie was annoyed with the camera!

Just Ducky
Ever since Mackenzie was a few weeks old I've been taking her to park right by our house. We usually meet our friend, Kelly, who has twin boys that are almost 4. It's a great way to get out of the house without spending money and to get some adult talk time in all while enjoying the kids. Now that the weather is getting colder, I have to bundle Mackenzie all up. A friend of mine gave Mackenzie this really cute fuzzy duck outfit that fits over her clothes and acts almost like a snow suit. I can't believe how much Mackenzie looks like her Daddy.
