There isn't a single day that goes by that I don't laugh at something that you say or do. Your personality is really starting to come out and you're definitely becoming a little person and is no longer a baby. You want and try to do everything on your own and have absolutely no fear what so ever.
*Down to one nap a day, usually around 1:30-2 p.m. and will sleep for anywhere from 2 to 3 hours. This is something you changed on your own and we went with it.
*Because you only have one nap a day now, you go to bed earlier now, usually between 7:45/8:15 p.m. and wake up 12 hours later.
*Have a new found love for "Gora" and "Go-go" (Dora and Diego) and are learning so much from both of them. You stop whatever you are doing and dance your little heart out when you hear the intro to both shows. You will say, "Aw, man!" just like Dora if you do something wrong or if you drop something. So cute! And you love Baby Jaguar and the Bobo Monkeys.
*You love to sing Pat-A-Cake and Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star and now refer to stars as twinkle, twinkles.
*Becoming more and more affectionate and will randomly give us hugs and kisses and love to kiss the dogs.
*Love to play pretend. When you play with play food, you make chewing and chomping noises and you have a Minnie Mouse purse that has lipstick and a mirror, so you use the mirror to put on your lipstick.
*Have a size 4/5 foot
*Wearing mostly 18-24 month clothes with some 12 months mixed in there. You went straight from 6-9 month clothes to 18 months...very strange!
*You clean up after yourself when you're done eating. You wipe down your tray, throw your trash away, and clean your hands and face. You love to blow your nose too! You make the funniest little sound when doing it, and then laugh hysterically at yourself when you're done.
*And the funniest/most shocking thing you have learned...to count! You were really testing me one day, because you kept running from me while I was trying to get your shoes on. I finally stopped chasing you and said, "Mackenzie come here right now." Of course you laughed at that and proceeded to run off. I then said, "Mackenzie, one..." well you little stinker, while running looked over your shoulder and said, "twoooo!" We have since scratched the counting method with you and now, give you one stern prompt to do what you are told. So far, that has worked.
*On a not so fun note, you have started screaming and grunting when you don't get your way and will swat if you get angry. I know you are learning the ropes of discipline, but good grief, this part is frustrating, but I know it's hard for you too.
