16 Months

You went for her 15 (even though you were 16 months) appointment on January 12, 2010.  I will start with your stats first, because that's what I can remember right off the top of my head!
Height: 30 3/4 in. 25-50%
Weight: 25 lbs. 75%
Head: 46.5 cm. 50-75%
The doctor was fantastic and we absolutely love her.  She was very pleased with your vocabulary and how social you were even though you knew she was a stranger.  There was a Winnie-The-Pooh tv at the top of one of the shelves, and to be honest I never saw it until you looked up, pointed and said, "Pooh!"  We all got a good laugh out of that and then you insisted on hiding underneath the examining table while we discussed health and all that fun stuff.  After the doctor checked your heart several times, she became a bit concerned.  She even admitted that she didn't want to scare us and she wasn't sure if what she was hearing was correct, but it appeared to her that you had a slight heart murmur.  My heart dropped, my eyes watered, and I wanted to run.  I tried and managed to maintain my composer and Daddy did great too.  Thank God he was with us.  He wasn't planning on coming, but when I told him that you were getting shots, he decided to meet us there.  We were able to schedule a cardiology appointment for January 28th at Sibley Heart Center and we impatiently waited for the day to come.  We were prepared for a long visit and packed tons of toys, snacks, and the famous Wonder Pets.  You were given a full exam consisting of an EKG, and blood pressure.  You hated every minute of it.  When we met with the doctor he ran a few more tests and confirmed that you do have a murmur, BUT it's what's called a Still's Murmur with little or no complications.  The doctor was fantastic and I highly recommend Sibley.  He released you for all physical activity and said that if need be you will be reevaluated again at 4 years old.  Now onto the fun facts!

*You started running...everywhere!
*You're absolutely terrified of bald men, including your Uncle Mike.  We're not quiet sure why, but you get really tense and crt when bald men talk to you...very strange!
*Completely off of baby food.  You were really only eating the fruit, but we have to remember that you still only have 4 teeth!
*You really took off with talking at 16 months.  On more than one occasion, you have said to me, "No, momma, no."
*You've started shaking your head for both "yes" and "no" when we ask you a question.
*Fallen head over heels in love with The Wonder Pets.  You're favorite is Ming Ming, but you love them all.
*Love green beans and eat them like french fries, chicken nuggets, olives (yuck!), avocados, and almost all fruit.
