Daddy is the only one in the family that's ever been to the aquarium and I received 2 free adult tickets, so we decided that it was finally time to go check it out. We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was more crowded that I thought it would be, but we were prepared. Nolan, we hooked you up to your "bap back" because we knew you had absolutely no interest in being pushed around in the stroller and your at the fun age that you love to run, run, run. Because this momma is terrified of losing one of you, the back pack you wore and you were happy with it. Mack, you thought since Nolan had his on, that you had to wear yours, you actually held the leash yourself. ;) As we walked in, everyone was being ushered to a main theatre that had a Dolphin show debuting. We skipped the show and had the aquarium practically to ourselves!
Patiently waiting for "Meemo" to swim by.
We had such a fun time watching this diver feed the coral, yes, coral needs food! Who would have thought?! Nolan, you were loving watching her, but the minute she turned around and waved at you, you became instantly terrified!
This goes to show that the aquarium was a hit. Nolan, you're constantly on the go, moving, moving, moving. You laid here for quiet some time watching the fish swim by.
I think the penguins were our favorite exhibit. We had to crawl through a opening that opened up into a large room that had these pop up's of sorts. When you stuck your head up, you were level with the penguins!
All in all, it was a fun, much needed family time day.
