Supper Time

Mackenzie's supper time is around 6/6:30ish, therefore, we usually feed her and then we eat later in the night.  Once Mackenzie starts eating more solids and such, we all eat as a family at the dinner table.  Eating together, as a family, is very important to me and it's one of the happy memories I have as child-my family eating as a family without the television on.  Last week, Scott decided to see if Mack would try chicken nuggets-well, at first she just starred at them.  He broke the chicken up into to small pieces and then she thought it was a game to play with it.  Finally, I have her one of her forks and we showed her how to eat with it.  She was so funny trying to stab at the chicken and then bring the fork to her mouth.  She was quite successful with some bites, but then decided that eating with her hands was less time consuming.

 What...is this thing?!

 You say it's a "fork"?

 Oh, that's how it works!

So, all it's good for is stabbing food and putting it in your mouth?
