19 Months Old

My goodness, where has the time gone?  I'm so thankful to not only have created this blog, but that I've been a little over the top with my picture taking of you.  It seems like time is flying by, and I'm quickly forgetting the little things from when you were younger.  I keep thinking, this time last year, you weren't even a year old, just started crawling around, had no teeth, and was still eating gross baby food and formula.  Now, we have the most energetic, talkative, lovable 19 month old on our hands.  You took your 3rd trip in less than a year to New York and celebrated your unbirthday on Easter Sunday.  Grayma makes a big deal about the monthly birthdays, so it was only fitting that we were with her and Uncle Matt. It has taken forever for you to get any teeth, and now they are coming in one by one, or 3 by 3 which has made it difficult for you lately.  Three of your 4 molars all came in at the same time, so now when you open your mouth all you see are these giant teeth on either side of your two front bottom teeth.  So far, your up to 7 teeth, but that doesn't stop you from eating anything, however, we have discovered you are a picky eater.  The only way we can get you to try something new is for us to make a huge, over the top big deal about it, and that can become quiet embarrassing in public :) or we have to literally hold hyour head and shove the food in your mouth.  75% of the time, you will like whatever we give you, other times, it either winds up on the floor, or a crying fit ensues.  As far as talking goes, my goodness, you will wear us out!  You are absolutely hysterical.  You have been speaking in full 3-7 word sentences now and will repeat ANYTHING anyone says, and I mean anything.  You refer t yourself as "me beebee" when you are naming everyone in our family.  When we were in New York, you finally came up with a name for my mom.  My mom wanted you to "name" her so needless to say, you've been calling my mom "PawPa" for some time now, even though you know that PawPa is a real person that's not my mom.  Well, when we were driving, you were sitting in the back with Uncle Matt and you randomly pointed to my brother and said, "Uncle Matt, Mommy" and then pointed to my mom who was driving and said very shyly, "Grayma."  It was the sweetest thing ever and completely made my mom's year.  You have also fallen head over heels in love with "Gora"=Dora the Explorer.  It's become somewhat of a problem simply because you've been demanding it, and that don't fly in our home.  You must ask politely and even then, that's no guarantee.  I will say though, Dora has taught you so much and out of all the cartoons that are out now, Dora is pretty educational, annoying at times, yes, but we don't tell you that.  :)
