Even though you're only in preschool, Mackenzie, you still had a spring break. Daddy and Mr. Keith talked a few weeks before hand and decided that we should all go to Cloudland Canyon for a fun, family and friends weekend. You took the Friday before spring break off and headed up with Daddy, Mr. Keith and Ashley so you could get us a good camping spot. Nolan, you, Hollie, Andrew and I drove up after we got off of work and we happy about that because the Daddy's already had everything set up by the time we got up there! Mr. Jim, Mrs. Trish and their gang arrived shortly after we did and we had such a fun weekend. The weather couldn't have been more perfect. It was warm and sunny during the days and cool and starry at night. I know all of you kids had so much fun playing and exploring together. We had 7 children, 6 adults and 2 dogs and we didn't loose anyone! :) We took a couple of hikes, and on Saturday we found the most beautiful waterfall I have ever seen! It was so nice to sit down there with everyone and enjoy the scenery.
To know what you're thinking...
We laugh at this and say that instead of it being Ashley, you and Sarah, it should be Hollie, Me, and Trish! You gals were watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas...in April.
This just makes me laugh every time I see it. Daddy was trying so hard to entertain you, Nolan. He found the broom and was riding it around the campsite making horse noises all while holding you.
