Mackenzie's 1st Soccer Season

May 19th marked the last game for your fist season playing soccer, Mack.  We all learned some tough lessons as this was your first time ever being involved in any sort of organized sport or function besides school.  There were several games that you would play on the field by yourself, but you NEVER, EVER moved from the spot your coaches put you.  For instance, you often played as a defender and you were GREAT at it, because everyone would just run right into you and you did slow them down that way.  Coach Jerry has the patience of a saint and Coach Emily would often run in front of you holding out M and M's for your to chase her with.  We couldn't have asked for a better set of coaches, however, I think you may have been just a tad too young.

At practice...you found something that caught your attention and it wasn't the soccer ball.  :)

At the last practice, Coach Jerry allowed you, Nolan, onto the field.  You were having so much fun!  And what is that I see?  Is it Mackenzie running after the ball?!

Before every game, they make a big deal about all the players.  The coaches announce each player and you run through the tunnel.
We've discovered that when you get nervous, you play with your hair.
You can see just how little you are compared to your team mates.
Who says you can't have 2 goalies?

Yes, this is Coach Jerry running with you.

And yes, there was A LOT of bribing going on this season.  If you played on the field by yourself, you got a treat.  Yogli Mogli became a favorite.
