Easter

We had a very quiet Easter this year.  On the Wednesday before, Mack, you came down with a very short lived (thank God) stomach virus that you caught from school.  On Friday, Mommy caught the bug and unfortunately had it all weekend and into the following week.  Luckily, the Easter Bunny didn't forget to stop in with fun Easter baskets and he did so while you two were fast asleep during nap time.

The weekend before Easter, our church had their annual Easter Egg Hunt.  Unfortunately, you both had your hunts at the same time, but fortunately, they were right next to each other.  Daddy and took turns passing the camera back and forth to each other and this is what we got.

For some time, Mack, your teachers had been talking to you about Easter and in a toddler's world, you somewhat understood why we celebrate Easter.  Even though I wasn't feeling well at all, Gramma and PawPa came over on Saturday for an early Easter dinner.  Daddy smoked a fresh ham and we had all the fixins'.  While we were all sitting outside, I asked you if you prayed before you ate at school, and you immediately bowed your head, clasped your hands together, and closed your eyes as you said the sweetest little prayer.  It makes Mommy and Daddy so happy to know that you're learning so much at school and that you have positive, Christian influences in your life.

And here a few pictures that Mommy took in Marietta Square of you two.  Why I decided it had to be done that day, I'll never know, but you guys did so well...for the most part.
