Ronald Reagan National Library, tubing and a Murder Mystery! Day 7

Simi Valley is right up the road from Uncle Ted's, and that's where the Ronald Reagan National Library is also.  A part of the Berlin Wall is there and this is one side...
and this is the other.  It was difficult to explain it to you, Mack, because you actually caught on to why one side was bare and the other side was pretty.

Actual love letter that Ronald wrote to Nancy.
Mack, you're a girl after your Momma's heart.  You loved all the mushy, love-y dovey stuff.
Nancy Reagan was often criticized for wearing expensive, lavish outfits.  Well, she went to a thrift store and actually wore this outfit to a red carpet event!
I never knew Nancy started up the "Just say no" campaign.
Air Force 1 that Ronald and Nancy used.

 Horseback riding with Ronald.  :)
Ronald Reagan and Walt Disney were very good friends and right now, they're having a Disney exhibit at the National Library.

When we got back to the ranch, we all went tubing!  This is Jackson and Uncle Scootie.

Mommy and Mack on the tube!  Mack, you are just like your Mommy and love a good thrill!  You were shouting for Uncle Joe to go faster and faster!  You LOVED it!
Nolan, you weren't too thrilled with tubing, but enjoyed going with Daddy.

Nolan, you took a super long nap that day, and because of that, missed out on lunch.  You woke up around supper time asking for lunch.  You were so tired and hungry.

We ended our CA vacation with a bang!  On Tuesday night, we had a murder mystery theatre.  Daddy was the town's doctor who drank too much and I was a mail order bride from England...

Dum, dum, dum...Mommy was the killer!
